Buddy Behind Bars For “Good”
Poor Buddy! Lee County Sheriff Jim Johnson has charged him with aiding and abetting the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) with the intent of helping area residents with muscular dystrophy.Forrest Ann Daniels says, “I hope they lock the man up!”
Don Wildmon says, “Put Buddy behind bars for “good!”
On Wednesday, May 9, 2007, Buddy has the honor and pleasure of (believe it or not) serving time behind bars for “Jerry’s Kid” to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Buddy needs your help to raise the “dough” to bail him out of jail. You can also pay to keep him in!

Buddy pleads, "I’d like to include you or your company on my list of contributors who are helping me raise my 'bail' of $1200. Just a small donation of whatever amount you could give would help MDA continue the fight against muscular dystrophy."
Please click here to make your tax deductible donation to MDA today.
The Memphis/Mid-South Chapter serves people with neuromuscular disease by providing a clinic at the Hope Health Center, assistance with the purchase and repair of wheelchairs and braces, area support groups and a special camp for “Jerry’s Kids” each summer. MDA also funds research grants to help find the causes for over forty neuromuscular diseases that affect people of all ages.
I sincerely hope that you will take this opportunity to support MDA. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me at 662-397-5634.
On behalf of the families which MDA serves, thank you for any amount that you are able to give today! May God continue to bless and keep you!
Buddy Smith
a.k.a. Jailbird Extraordinaire

Here are a few examples of what your help enables MDA to do:
- $25 provides an annual flu shot for one person

- $100 funds a support group session
- $200 covers a clinical diagnostic exam
- $650 sends a child to MDA summer camp for a week

The Day They Kicked God out of the Schools
If you listen to American Family Radio or receive the AFA Action Alert, you may have already heard or viewed "The Day They Kicked God out of the Schools." We took a brief written commentary from an unknown author that has been widely circulated on the Internet and created a video presentation. The parallel of the state of our nation and the purposeful removal of God from public life is so powerful that our phones have rung off the wall.
